Information we collect and how it is used
We don’t capture and store any personal information about you when visiting this web site, except (1) where you voluntarily choose to give us your personal details via email or the feedback form; (2) when you order a product; and/or (3), when you subscribe to our newsletter.
At shows, we use iZettle to process payments. Mainly, this does not require your personal details to be entered (except the debit/credit card details which are used by iZettle to process the order). At shows we offer printed receipts. If you choose to have a copy sent to you via text message or email, you are giving us consent to send you the receipt. When you register for our newsletter, the data your give us (your email) is only used by Jon to send you newsletters about Easyknits news, activities, yarns, fibres, clubs and patterns. You can update your subscription preferences or unsubscribe via a link in the newsletter email. Newsletters are handled by MailChimp (click here to see their data policy).
Access your data
You have a right to know about the personal information that Easyknits holds about you. You also have the right to have your data corrected or deleted. If you have any questions about the use of your data, please contact us at the address below. All requests will be acknowledged and processed within one month. This includes what data we hold, how it is used, amends and removal.
The cookie is used to make the link between you and the information you have provided to the website. The creation of a cookie on your computer does not give the website any access to other information such as your email address.
